iKey recently announced a new industrial keyboard “built to withstand the harshest of environments”,around environments laden with grease making it perfect for work shops, the food industry, and doomsday machines. 

  • the keyboard’s lack of crevices prevents nasty gunk from building up between the keys

  • waterproof surface allows for easy cleaning

  • a backlit edition is coming later this year

  • The board possesses a "hard-coated, textured, polyester film that is more rugged than industrial silicone rubber keypads," and it's designed to withstand "directed hose water, disinfectants and environmental contaminants."

  • The mechanical, snap-dome keys provide excellent tactile feedback. The integrated Synaptics touchpad is completely sealed under an extra layer of PVC membrane, which extends the life of the product.
